Diamond bearings (Polycrystalline Diamond Compact bearings, PDC bearings) are high-end bearing solutions specifically designed for extreme working conditions. They are divided into two major series: thrust bearings and radial bearings.

Diamond PDC bearings are widely used in the oil and gas drilling industry, such as in key equipment like drilling motors, turbine drilling rigs, mud motors and rotary steering systems.

Diamond PDC bearings use advanced brazing technology to firmly weld PDC cutter onto steel carrier rings. They mainly consist of rotating bearing rings and fixed bearing rings.
In thrust bearings, the inner diameter PDC surface of the ring directly contacts the outer diameter PDC surface; in radial bearings, low-friction operation is achieved through the precise fit of the PDC surfaces on the inner and outer rings. The unique design results in an extremely low friction coefficient between the PDC surfaces (0.01-0.03), significantly enhancing wear resistance and service life.
